Brain Weight of the Korean.

Abstract
|
|
|
We observed 278 Korean brains, of which 151 were males (o70) and 127 females (070) and summerized as follows:
1. The average brain weights were 1413.7g in the males and 1268.4g in the females over 20 years of age.
2. Until 7 years of age the brain weight of both sexes increased rapidly without sex-differences, thereafter it increased to the maximum at 1519 years of age rapidly in male, slowly in female.
3. The Korean brains were completed at 1519 years of age.
4. The brain weight of male began to decrease after 50 years of age, and the female´s after 60 years of age.
5. The brain weight between the Korean, Japanese and European, showed no differences.
